Default Will someone please explain to me..

Why it is that Dunkoro has been running off willy nilly lately for me? I have two dead henchies, I need some of my spell points back, an a hero needs healing. One of the dead henchies is my other hero, and I look on my radar just in time to see Dunkoro off and running toward the next group of enemies..who haven't even hit my "Noticed" area yet. Isn't he supposed to be a tactician?? Where's the brains in that?!?!

Strangely enough I have this happen randomly with heroes, normally Olias is the largest problem, but Zhed and Magrid can also cause problems. I've no idea what the issue is... I've always got them on defence or avoid - this shouldn't be happening

its because heros are retarded and just generally like running around like headless chickens unless you flag them

Yeah, Olias does do that a lot too. But lately it's like Dunkoro has a death wish or something. Maybe he's suicidal now, I don't know.

Yeah, but I mean cripes. It's like after every battle, if there's a red dot ANYWHERE on my compass, Dunkoro is heading towards it.

Also, it also helps if you set hero monks to "not attack"...that way they will just stand there and either kite attackers, or heal/protect your party... I've never had a problem with my Hero monks running off.

I never had any of my casters ran off before. I normally set both my monks to passive, and the rest of the caster to defend. Vekk has never moved to the front line at all during the preview (I set him as blind bot ele). For some reason the back liner seem to stay inside ward vs xx a lot now, rather running around.

He was set to defend only. Ah well. I'll just have to flag him specifically LOL

I tend to always flag my hench somewhere and so far they do just fine, they stay around the area where I've put them without aggroing any extra mobs. However (since I'm warrior) I sometimes have to tank so I gotta flag my heros far back, then when I cancel the flag the dumb fools just go all coffeebreak and stand their picking their nose, forcing me to again, flag them near me before they come in and help.

Oh yes, Dunkoro the maniac. I attack someone, Goren stands there until my attack actually damages something but you know has already dashed straight into the mouth of the beast. I'm yelling, "Dunk, you're a damn monk man, get your arse back here!"

I have to flag him way too much now. I also started to use the lock target icon recently, and that works.

After I completed the Koss's Elixir quest yesterday and got the reward, we attacked some Mandrigors and Mhenlo just stood there, wouldn't attack or heal, almost like he hadn't taken the antidote along with the rest of us and was still under the elixir's effects. Ended up mapping back to town which fixed the problem, as he was back to normal when we went out again.

Yep, I have had this issue with Dunk more than any other hero, but all of them have done it at one time or another. Lately, even my pet has done it. I think there is a growing bug in the AI.
